Tailgating Policies

Tailgating is permitted as long as it is conducted in a safe and respectable manner and activities comply with proper fan decorum. Please adhere to the following policies as it relates to tailgating:

  • Tailgating set-up must not interfere with free flow of traffic
  • One car = One space
  • Please set your grills, coolers, etc. in front of or behind your vehicle
  • No glass bottles
  • No ball playing or Frisbee throwing
  • No kegs or bulk quantities or alcohol
  • Outside food and beverage is not permitted inside the stadium
  • Please bag and properly dispose of trash
  • Outside caterers are not permitted
  • Sale of food/beverage is not permitted
  • No open flames
  • Dispose of charcoal in Hot Coals Only bins
  • NO POST-MATCH TAILGATING: Due to a Village Ordinance and respect for the surrounding community, there is no postmatch tailgating allowed. Please follow directions of Stadium Security and/or Village of Bridgeview Police.

Reserved Private Tailgates

If you or a group of friends are interested in having a private tailgate before a Chicago Fire match, here are some details:

  • Three areas for reserved private tailgates (bottom right corner in East lot no longer exist)
  • Must be reserved through Fire Front Office – Group ticket sales department
  • Tailgates fill up so reserve early!
  • Minimum of 100 group tickets
  • Must bring your own food and beverage
  • Picnic tables, coal bins and trash receptacles will be provided

Tailgating Tips

  • Get prepared the night before the game
  • Make a list to keep yourself organized.
  • Designate Responsibilities to Friends/Family Attending
  • Find Parking Early & Park Respectfully
  • Bring a bigger vehicle
  • Download the Chicago Fire App for Matchday Updates
  • Have spare chargers for all devices
  • Be civilized with other tailgaters
  • Bring appropriate weather gear
  • Respect Your Environment and probably remove your trash
  • Wrap up your leftover food once the tailgate is complete!
