FOOTBALL IN THE COMMUNITY | ABOUT

Football In The Community (FITC) is the youth programming department of the Chicago Fire Football Club. The objective of FITC is to provide year-round, professional coaching and resources to youth soccer organizations, players and coaches.

The Chicago Fire and Football In The Community has partnered with Illinois Youth Soccer (IYSA) to become the 'Official Recreational Camp Provider' of the state association. In doing so, the Chicago Fire Football Club and IYSA aims to positively impact every level of soccer in Illinois.

In addition, Chicago Fire Football In The Community is also working with Chicago Public Schools (CPS) to serve Chicagoland youth and use soccer as a vehicle to provide positive learning experiences and opportunities. As part of the relationship with CPS, Chicago Fire Soccer In The Community will run CPS Summer Camps in underserved Chicago neighborhoods, as well as exclusive year-round opportunities and events for students to interact with coaches, players and staff of the Chicago Fire Football Club.
